Ways to naturally induce labor?

I'm going to be induced next week and have heard such bad and scary things about induction. What has worked for you to get labor going naturally?

Walking!! I think this helped me a little bit. I was 39w6d when my OB scheduled my induction because I was completely closed!! it would have been for 41w exactly... fast forward 3 days I went to the mall and walked around for 2 hrs. Well that night  I felt contractions when I was sleeping for about 3-4 hrs I had to get up. By 7am they were gone I was bummed out. I walked around that morning some more. Then I went to have Thai for lunch and asked for #7 spicy on my PhadThai... contractions started up again.. very slowly. But SURLY! Lol. By 3 I was tryna in active labor. My contractions were 3 min apart.. my 6pm they were 1-2 min apart. I went into L&D and they checked me I was 4cm dilated. I had him that night at 3:30. I was 40w3d..
Iffff your baby doesn’t come before the day you are scheduled to be induced, I can personally tell you my experience with my first being induced wasn’t bad at all. I dilated pretty quickly. 7 hours after they started the process I was 10cm dilated and began to push. I pushed for about 45 min and my baby was here ☺️ I didn’t get an epidural with him... this time I asked for it right away because I felt like I was dying hahaha. Good luck mama! Don’t stress it baby will be here soon :)

Nothing. Baby will come when they want. You can most certainly google it & try the methods but doesn’t guarantee it will work. I’ve tried basically all of them & my baby came when he wanted to. DO NOT TRY CASTOR OIL THOUGH! It’s not good for you & can cause stillborn.

Have you asked your doctor about a membrane strip? It doesn’t work for everyone, but I went into labor the next morning. Also, sex and walking. Get a ball to bounce on!

I would say walking. I had a membrane sweep, although it doesn’t work for everyone but I walked a couple miles twice a day that same day and the next. I went into labor the day after the sweep.
