Fertility help !

I had nexplanon removed in March. My husband and i have been trying for 6 months. My doctor said that wait 6 months at most for my period to show up & it has yet to show. The doctors here in my new city told us a year in order for them to help us. I get that there’s others out there that have been trying longer. But this is me. I’m getting very annoyed. I’m having trouble losing weight & i have so much acne. It’s like the hormones are in my body still. Any tips for fertility!? I need help please!
