Surrogate mum? Need advice / opinions

Ok. So. I am pregnant with my 5th baby. My 4th child was born via c section, so this baby is now going to be born the same.
I don’t intend to have any more of my own children. But I know of a few people who can’t have children. Initially I wanted to ask the surgeon if he/ she will sterilise me after this baby is born. But.. I am 27, I have a healthy fully functional oven and am therefore lucky and have something which some ladies would give anything for. My question is, what would I have to do to be a surrogate mum? The more info I have and advise the better! I’m not 100% on this idea yet but I feel I could handle it emotionally with ease

I believe that you can have your tubes done and still be a surrogate, reason being the couple's embryo would be implanted into your uterus, so you being able to drop an egg into your uterus wouldn't be necessary  (unless you want to be a surrogate with your own eggs for a woman who doesn't have healthy eggs, in which case it would be artificial insemination and you would need to ovulate properly) but ask your dr.

Ok so I’m getting a tubal ligation after I have this baby. I’ve spoken with my doctor about it multiple times. I also want to be a surrogate so I needed all the information I could get. It’s normally an embryo that gets implanted into you so you don’t need eggs to be a surrogate. Someone posted something about age, weight, and other “restrictions”, none of that is true. A history of healthy pregnancies and deliveries is what they want, although I’m sure they don’t want obese people because that’s a risk. Good luck to you!

Not sure how it is where you are but where I'm at, most doctors won't allow more than 3 (4 if you're lucky) csections. So if you had 1 this will be 2 and depending on the situation were you to get pregnant again that would be the last one. Maybe discuss it with your doctor and see what their limit is?

I have been thinking about this. I am 20 weeks with my third & want 1 more after this. Then I’ll be done after 4. I’ll only be hopefully 29 when I’m done. I want to help others who can’t have children by being a surrogate. I looked into selling my eggs but something about my eggs being out there seems odd. I know they are just a cell but it’s still my DNA & biologically my babies if anyone was to use them. I am looking into surrogacy after I have my last baby in a few years. I’m 5’2, 105 pounds & healthy so I don’t see why not?! I think it’s a wonderful idea momma ❤️

I think for most companies you have to be under 30, be under 160 pounds, have a clean health chart, and most companies usually only want surrogates that are ethnic or religious.
