When do you plan on telling your families??

Question

I’m 6 weeks and my husband and I were planning on waiting to tell our families closer to 10-12 weeks but are considering telling them earlier. 
We are seeing his family this weekend before one of his sisters move to Europe so we are thinking of telling them when everyone is together. His family recently went through a very sad, scary summer with a family emergency so I think they would love to celebrate some good news all together. 
Then we will be home with my family the following weekend so it feels like it’s the perfect time to tell both our families even though it’s earlier than we planned. 
My husband is very nervous about telling them too soon and would rather not tell anyone in case of miscarriage. I think I would be okay with them knowing either way but am not 100% sure!
Anyone else in a similar situation??

Here is my thought and what we did I was 5 weeks yesterday and we told all my family we are telling his family on Sunday!!!! I wanted to tell our families sooner than later because I want to celebrate the baby’s life no matter how long or how shot it is!!! I am also terrified of going though a miscarriage but on top of that having to go through it alone would be impossible.... and hard to fake happy around family that never knew I was pregnant... but I think we are still waiting to tell everyone else at 12-14 weeks

I’m gonna announce it to my dads side of the family on October 27th when we have our Halloween party. We celebrate my birthday which is on Halloween and my cousins who’s is in November. She always has the spot light every year by people at the party and everyone completely forgets about me but not this year cause I’m announcing I’m pregnant at the Halloween party!! I’ll be 13 Weeks and out of the first trimester so it’s perfect. Not to mention I’ll be turning 20!!! 💜💜💜💜 this is going to be my Halloween outfit this year to the party. I’m gonna keep the shirt buttoned up until I announce it💕💕💕

For our first we told our parents and siblings right away and will be doing the same this time around. We figure it would be harder to go through a loss alone than if we had support from closest loved ones. Everyone’s different though so just do what feels best to you

We're waiting to tell his family until we know it's not ectopic. I just called my mom and told her. She was so excited. I really hope I don't have to untell her.

I’m on the side that I told my family at 5 weeks. Then at almost 7 had a miscarriage. I had the mindset that it would be helpful for everyone to know, and to have more people there for me. But honestly it made it so much hard. More conversations I had to have with people that I had lost my baby. When all I wanted was normal, everyone was saying I’m sorry or hugging me, etc.

We had a miscarriage in June, found out at our 12 week check up. We previously told immediate family at about 6 weeks, other family and close friends between 8-10 weeks after that appointment went well. This time around, now that I’m pregnant again, I’m not sure what we’ll do. I definitely want to wait until after 8 weeks to tell anyone, but it’s really up to whatever you’re comfortable with. 😊

We told our best friends and our parents the week we found out at 4w (aka this week 😍). We want my daughter to be the next to know but aren’t planning on telling her until after the first ultrasound at 8w. After she knows we will probably tell everyone else.
