Should vacation time be first come first serve?
Let's say an employee has been working for a company for 10 years. He knows by March what his Christmas plans will be. Should he be able to put in that request as first come first serve? Should he wait until it's closer and give other people a chance to ask for days off around Christmas? Should someone who has been working there 15 years get seniority and get to choose first? I'd love to hear some opinions.
