Need to talk

Idk what to think. We believe I'm miscarrying. My hcg level went from 188 to 90. But I've got no blood or cramps. Had some brown discharge on an off since Monday. Talked to my Dr an he said at first no worry until he got my levels back then told me more then likely a miscarriage. I started doing research on line about hcg levels an there is women who have had their levels drop an then go back up again an result in a healthy baby. What do I do? What do I believe? Thinking about going into er just to have them check an do levels an mostly for a second opinion. Anyone hear of anything like this? Should I go in an get checked?
