Anyone in Florence's path?

Question

We live 5 minutes from the Va/NC border and only 50 minutes from the coast. If it follows the European model we will be hit but ok but if it follows the GFS model we are going to be in big trouble where we are. 
Anybody else prepping to ride it out?

I'm in Newport News, just outside of the Evacuation Zones. Our plan is to stay put. We're across the street from a hospital and in a big apartment building.

It sounds like I’m very close to you. We plan on riding it out unless we are told we need to evacuate. We have the generator ready to go, just need to get some more water. It’s been sold out everywhere already!

I live in Eastern NC, only about an hour and a half from the coast. Really praying this thing changes it’s path. I don’t want to see the devastation it may leave if it does hit us at a cat 3 or 4!
