Has anyone had a LEEP in the past and now have a shortening cervix?

Hi guys!
I’m 16 weeks today and my cervix is now 2cm and the doctors have put me on bed rest and progesterone to try to stop the shortening and funneling?
Has anyone been through this or gotten a cervical cerclage?

My friend did with all of her pregnancy her body makes her go into labor fast. The clercage is the only thing that saved her baby. I'd really consider it if I were you and your already dialating.
I'd just keep a very open line of communication with your doctor and if you feel like anything is wrong speak up and tale bed rest seriously.

I had a leep last year. My doctor hasn’t checked my cervix, I’m 16 weeks. How did you find out you needed to be put on bed rest?

I’m 18 and a half weeks and had a LEEP 5 years ago.. so far no shortening that I know of. How did you find out?
