Tricare prime or tricare select?

I have been reading a lot of posts about the insurance and everyone seems to have difference experience and opinions.

For prime, people seem to have everything for free but you have to see a doctor on the base and they apparently suck. Is that true?

For select, you have to pay some kind co pay when seeing the doctor but some people say they never paid anything. But you have less benefits.

The only reason I need to see a doctor is like annually check up and to get my birth control pills refill. So nothing major.

So which insurance is better? 😂😂
