She’s 9 1/2 months still no teeth yet but has this redness and the yellow in the middle, I’m worried it would be a abscess. I need a little help

Hmmm, I’d ask your doctor about it because like you pointed out, the middle teeth are normally first to break through. It’s not impossible for teeth to come in on the side first but it’s far more likely that the middles are first. 
I’ll include pix of my daughters gums right before her first tooth at 7.5 months. I have to agree that your baby’s gums look a little yellow which makes me think it could be something else. Best to ask your ped to be safe.
