BC/period question!

Hypothetically if you were to get pregnant while on the pill, would you still get your “period”? I put it in quotations because I read somewhere that a period while on the pill isn’t actually a period, it’s the medication like forcing the shed to happen or something like that (I can’t remember where I read it from so if it’s total BS lmk lmao). Anyways, my question is, since the pill is the one “forcing” the “period” (if that’s true), would it still force it if you’re pregnant? I hope that makes sense.

TLDR; if you’re on BC and get pregnant, will you get any sort of period? And will it be your actual period or forced shedding from the pill doing its job regardless of the fact that you’re pregnant?
