Provera? Even if I'm already bleeding?

Anyone have experiences with provera and ttc to share?

I thought provera was mainly prescribed if you're not getting a period. My problem seems to be the opposite. I start light spotting mid cycle, bleeding gets heavier, then back to spotting. I'm bleeding 3+ weeks at a time. I'm a little nervous to take provera as I don't want my problem to get worse.

TTC for 9 months. Seems like everyone around me is getting pregnant, so ready for my turn. I don't know what my next steps should be, I'm so impatient!
