Anyone actually wait 12 wks?

So currently 10 wks today and haven't told anyone but like 2 ppl. I'm still just waiting because I have had spotting here and there. Saw the dr and she did say there was irritation on my cervix and gave me antibiotics. It did make me a little nervous so now I really am on the fence about announcing til go back next week. Just hoping everything will be ok even tho heartbeat was fine at first appt. Just being cautious I guess.

I announced at 20 weeks with both pregnancies (two previous miscarriages).

I told my mum when we found out, told MIL at 10 weeks. Told my close family and friends at 13 weeks. Didn’t announce on social media (don’t plan on it) I think by the time he announced to all of his family and friends we were around 17 weeks.

I was outed at 6 weeks! I teach elementary school and a student in our school was diagnosed with meningitis. An email went out that all pregnant women needed to leave ASAP. I ran out with my hair on fire after telling me admin. I hadn’t even told me parents at that point.

As soon as the doctor told me everything looked good on the ultrasound I told everyone. I think I was 10 weeks. I waited with my first until 12 weeks.

Nope! I’ve had an ectopic, a miscarriage and 2 babies with me. With my ectopic I didn’t tell anyone because it wasn’t planned and I was so alone when it happened. I don’t believe you are jinxed if you say anything before 12 weeks. Pregnancy should be celebrated and if something was to happen it gives people a chance to be there for you. I hate the fact that we feel the need to hide our losses. Your baby is going to be beautiful. Tell anyone that want to!

We will wait until 12 weeks to tell ANYONE, including our kids and parents. We will not make an announcement on social media. I am very superstitious and have had 6 losses so we are definitely not saying anything until we’re 200% positive its going to end well. My bff announced at 9 weeks after her ultrasound and lost the baby 2 days later. It was awful and super awkward whenever anyone mentioned her pregnancy or asked about when she was due.

We told our very close friends and family and my work because I cant work pregnant. Im waiting for my first scan and for 13 weeks to tell the rest of the people. I’m at 12w5d. But no social media announcement for us.

We only told our parents. With both babies we announced at 13 weeks. I also had some scares with both. 
I have a friend who is going on 20 weeks who hasn’t announced yet. 
Just do what you’re comfortable with!
