How do I tell my family that I am pregnant?

Im 9 weeks pregnant and I am not sure how to tell my family. Should I just post a picture on social media or how? Im shy and not that close to my family. I have a 1 year old girl. But I didnt tell anyone. They just accidently found out.

Why not just pick up the phone and tell the people you think might be sad to find out via Facebook? 
My rule was to inform everyone the way I typically communicate with them. For people I normally talk to by phone, I called. If I normally texted them, I texted. The only people I insisted on telling in person were our parents, my sister, and two of my closest friends.

If it were me I'd wait until I felt totally certain how I want to share the news. You don't seem to want to share; like you think you have to because someone found out accidentally? If it's something you don't want to address yet don't mention it but have a response ready for when people start to come to you about it
