I haven’t had the time to share my birthing experience, but let me just put this out there in all honesty it’s the most beautiful thing a women can go through. It’s incredible how you can just fall in love with your newborn baby by looking at him/her for the first time. I know this might be long but if your interested just keep reading!!! I always wanted my birthing experience to be like just like in those romantic movies where eveything goes as planned but I learned that it’s isn’t always that way LOL, it’s was a Wednesday and I had an appointment for an ultrasound and my fiancé always comes with me for those appointment but this time it was different because idk why we decided to invited my mother in law for this one, (mind you this has never happen before) at first she said she couldn’t come but then out of the blue she told us she was going to be there, anyways we got to our appointment, I was currently 37 and 5 days I was so excited to see my little peanut, everything seems to be fine until the tech tells me she has to call the doctor for something, she asked me if I had been leaking fluids more then usual, I said yeah I have I told one of the ob that see me every week and they said I was fine, anyways she makes a face and leaves the room, then about 5 min the ob comes in and check my baby, I ask is everything okay since my pregnancy was a high risk one, she looks at me and says “ your having your baby today” I swear I thought she was joking I laughed and look at my fiancé and said ohh good one, she then says no your having your baby today you have to go to labor and delivery, I was in shock but I still had two more weeks left, so I went home to pack eveything and while I was at home I felt really sad because in my mind I wanted to have a natural home birthing and then go to the hospital when I was ready to deliver, but it is was it is so I got eveything aand headed out to the hospital I got there and they had a room ready for me they checked me and told me they were going to induce me because I had low atomic fluid, I was ok let’s do this but they told me that I had to wait till the next day for them to start the induction because they were really busy that night and they needed the delivery room so they put me on fluids,
I was a little annoyed and mad that night because I had to wait, it was horrible let me tell you that, finally the next day Thursday they came and got me switched to my delivery room where they started me on pitocin and also they put like a balloon type thing inside me and thats was to open my cervix to fasten labor, an hour passed and I start to have horrible contractions, they start to come every 5 min and lasted to 1 min so i gave in and asked for a epidural, I wanted to go all natural but I just couldn’t tolerate the pain, the anesthesiology came and gave me the epidura, believe me I thought it was going to hurt but I literally felt nothing, that epidural was heaven  I finally took a nap, then by Thursday’s night I was felling anxious because I was only like 6 cm dilated, I keep asking the doctors if I was really and they told me no it might take some time I was anxious to meet my baby girl already, finally it’s Friday it was like at 4 am they broke my water I was so happy, by 6:40 I was 10 cm dilated, oh funny story since I had been with an epidural for 2 days by the end my body got numb to the epidural so when it was time to push I felt every single contraction that pain was unbearable I pushed for about 30 min and finally my baby girl was born at 7:20 am / 6 lb 5 oz
She was so precious, I couldn’t believe I was a mom to this angle, now my baby is 5 month old and the most happiest baby I ever seen here are some pictures of her
