Being followed and protecting my baby

Kate

I really need some advice, we live in a suburb neighborhood and it seems like every time I go for a walk with my dog around the block something happens. Three different occasions I’ve had cars slow down near where I’m walking and watch me and others do very obvious turnarounds multiple times and staring. The gate to our backyard has been wide open and we saw some man walking through our front yard during a thunderstorm and we weren’t home! We pulled into the driveway and he just happened to leave and get in a car that drove slowly past us. I usually bring my sister along with me but occasionally I walk alone, after today I feel I need to stay inside and hide. I’m very obviously pregnant and my husband is in the military so I’m living with family. I feel nervous about being home alone and also having a child that I feel like is going to need 24/7 protection. With all of the human trafficking reports and stories that I hear about the anxiety of it is starting to make me sick. I don’t want to go anywhere because I get stares from Everyone and mostly men are being to forward or creepy towards me, this happens at Walmart, the mall, gas stations, etc. what should I do? Should I install security around the house even though I won’t be living here past April, or should I get a gun? I have had mace before it I feel so defenseless and like I have a big target on my back.
