To douche or not to douche?

Please comment your choice. Since my last period like 2days ago I'm having a hard time getting rid of this smell. The smell is like old blood it stinks.Thought I left a tampon in since I've seen post about that but I cant find anything. How likely is it to get an sti/std from oral sex/ raw sex without him nutting inside. I've never had this problem and have had my period FOR YEARS!! I'm a little concerned but can over react at times.

Some STDs and STIs can spread through contact only. So it’s just as likely to get one without cum

He doesn’t need to cum for you to get STDs or STIs, just like you don’t need to cum for you to spread it someone else (not saying you have one!). I do want to point out, please don’t ever use a douche or any other feminine products! The vagina naturally clean itself. You only need warm water & unscented soap when washing your vagina. Douches & other feminine products actually causes unbalance pH. So if you do use them then maybe stop using them & just water & unscented soap and see how that goes but if you’re worried then go to OB to get Pap smear & tested. Good luck! 🤞🏻
