Were you allowed to eat before your induction?

Please help, dr didn’t say anything, can I eat breakfast before I go in, in the morning?

I was told to eat and drink and then when they broke my waters they made me eat beforehand and said I couldn’t eat or drink after they had broke them in case it ended in a csection or something I’d defo say have something to eat before you go in it’s a long process x

An induction can take a Very long time, so unless instructed otherwise I would eat and drink like normal. You need all the energy you can get before giving birth.

Yep, I was already in the hospital and they actually got me my dinner early to make sure I got to eat before they started my induction.

I was told to be at the hospital at 2pm to get checked in and get cervadil inserted and I was told not to eat anything after 11am.
