Why is it hard.

Update: turns out I had 2 false positives and started bleeding today. Er took a test and it was negative. 
Why is it so hard to keep things a secret. I wanna tell my mom I’m pregnant but I want to wait until 1 trimester is over and in the “safe” zone. But then again that’s my momma and I’m the last one to have a baby and I just want to tell the whole world lmao. It’s so hard to keep it hush hush

I told my mom right away because even if I did miscarry which thankfully I didn’t I’d want her love and support to go through it

I told my mom right away with both of my pregnancies.  The first one ended in miscarriage at 10w and the call to tell my mom was honestly one of the hardest things I’ve had to do, but I was so so grateful for her support through everything.  With this pregnancy, I wanted to keep it from her at least until our 6w viability scan, but life got pretty shitty quickly and some good news was needed, and am now 16w and we’ve only told immediate family and our closest friends.  Definitely don’t regret telling her before the end of my first trimester with either pregnancy.

I told my mom at 5 weeks. If anything went wrong I would have needed her support. There’s no rule on this. If you need your mama, tell your mama.

We’re not telling family till after our first us at ten weeks. I’d love to tell my mom sooner but I know that would make my husband feel left out so we are going to do it at a big family dinner I guess 🤷🏻‍♀️

I told my mom immediately when I found out I was pregnant with my son, however this time around I will wait to surprise her, because I cant wait to see the look on her face 😊

Myself and my Husband told immediate family as soon as I got my positive in both my Pregnancies. I’m sure you can tell your Mum ☺️

We told immediate family as soon as we had our first appointment to make sure I actually was pregnant. We waited until the 12 weeks were up to tell everyone else. It's honestly nice to have your family to lean on when you have one of the many bad pregnancy days.
