Metformin... PCOS insulin resistant... Success stories?

So I was diagnosed with pcos 5 years ago... After having surgery because a cyst ruptured and cause and infection I now have only my left ovary & tube remaining..

One month after surgery I got pregnant.. So five years later.. and for the last 10 months we are trying for baby number 2 and this month I got prescribed metformin. Because they have determined my hormones are so crazy and I have insulin resistant pcos.. and that even though I have a period every month I'm not ovulating Everytime... Even with an abnormally large ovary... Anyone else get prescribed for it and get a bfp soon..... Idk how to feel about this... I would feel better hearing success stories..
