Anyone who’s signed up for Medicaid can you please give me some insight!

I’m not positive I’m pregnant just yet, I’m struggling to wait 3 more days to test 😭😭

But I’ve been trying to prepare because I will hopefully be pregnant soon anyways even if this wasn’t my month.

I live in NC by the way!

But I was looking at the forms online for the baby love insurance and it says a doctor has to confirm the pregnancy.. but everyone has told me when you schedule your first appointment it’s not right away. What happens if I need the insurance (you never know especially that early in pregnancy) before that first visit?

Or will I have to schedule an appointment first to confirm the pregnancy and then also make one for the “first appointment”??

I feel so crazy for having to ask considering my mom has done this serval times and works with parents to get them signed up often.. but my husband and I want to keep a secret for a little bit first.

Can someone please help?

* there’s no way I can pay for a doctor appointment out of pocket! 😳

We don’t have any clinics near us. We have a health department.. of which my mom works at .. 😳
