My sister in law snd her hubs did this. She didn’t want to know but he did. He kept it a complete secret the entire time and didn’t slip up once!! Didn’t hint at a certain gender either. It can def be done!

Same exact scenario for us.  I am the one that wanted to be surprised and he wanted to know the gender.  We compromised and were surprised with our first and will be finding out the gender of this one.  Personally feel like mama should get first pick!

I would say the kids might slip up. He may also but he could easily cover it. If my husband knew I know he would pretend to slip up so even if he did I'd think he was messing with me. I might do the same to him 😂

I know someone who didn’t want to find out. Because they have previous kids they didn’t do a baby shower. Only 2 people knew and it was moms best friends, they bought all the stuff for the baby while the mom picked it out and sent them pics! (She gave them her cc) it’s a really good idea!!

People keep saying it’s not going to work, which has the effect of making my husband super determined to wait. It’s going to be so amazing to see the look on his face when the baby is born!

My husband and I were the same way. He didn’t want to know because he wanted the surprise but I wanted to find out immediately. The only difference is this is our first kiddo. We came to a compromise and he agreed to do a surprise gender reveal. My friend is throwing it so we’ll be just as surprised as everyone else. That way I get to know and he gets the surprise like he wanted. I also feel if everyone knows but him somebody will eventually slip up and he’ll find out anyway
