testing too soon?

Looking for some advice! I am due for my period this Saturday (its Thursday night) and I took two pregnancy tests, both negative. I almost passed out twice yesterday, no health history at, and I have been exhausted. I know it could be a coincidence but after trying for 8 months and having sex on our ovulation days.. I’m hopeful. So, do you think it’s possible I’m negative because its too soon? If you have a similar experience please share!
