Too late to switch doctors?

A

Just found out today that the hospital where I deliver has a 40% C-section rate opposed to nearby hospitals that have 15%. I’m a first time mom, baby is measuring small, healthy pregnancy so far so I shouldn’t be a candidate for a c section but that Statistic terrifies me.

My doctor is a really nice facility but very high volume. Feels like a baby mill. I know so many women who go or have gone there for their pregnancy and a majority of them have had a c section. I wish I had done my research before because I would REALLY prefer a vaginal birth and c section as a last resort.

I’m 30 weeks pregnant. Is it too late to switch doctors? Anyone else have an experience with this?
