I have been in a relationship for 8 years & recently found out my partner cheated & the reason was "I was drunk, I didn't know what I was doing" & "I can't remember, I blanked out" was the answer I got when I asked if anything other than oral was involved.

I'm so upset right now & don't know what to do, personally I don't accept the whole drunk actions don't count excuse.

The one person I thought would never hurt me has broken my heart ☹. I think what makes it worse is that we are a same sex couple & the cheating happened with someone of the opposite sex. I'm not allowed to talk about it with my partner & am told "we just need to move on" 🤔 I'm pretty sure I'm entitled to be upset but obviously my emotions just don't mean that much.
