Lower abdomen pressure

Sarah

I’m 19 weeks 4 days, and I started feeling lower abdomen/upper pelvic pressure yesterday. This primarily happens when laying down or sitting. Of course, we were in the path of the hurricane, so there is no doctor’s office open, and my office doesn’t respond unless they are open, so I can’t ask. Is this pressure normal? I know that it eventually happens, but I didn’t know how early. I also have an anterior placenta, so it’s hard to feel most movements or hear the heartbeat at this point with an at home monitor. I can hear movement on the Doppler, but it is usually higher. It’s by my belly button most of the time, which doesn’t correlate with the pressure being so low. Any ideas?
