My boyfriend and I have been together almost 2 years now. I told him I still go by my religious belief as in getting married and having kids in marriage.

However I have been ever so afraid to marry again because of my wounds from my previous marriage.

My ex husband used to tear some horrible memories into me prior to our marriage that caused me to be cold and miserable to my new lover.

My boyfriend to has gone through some horrible experiences in regards to his ex’s just using him and cheating on him. He and I have gotten into arguments about marriage (which I stated my opinion not force him). He kept saying he don’t want marriage until old age.

Surprisingly... this year he has actually proposed to me!

At first I thought he was joking because he is a clown at heart but he kept telling me he is serious...

I must say I said yes. I must say I don’t know what changed his mind because I was shocked but I’m happy he did.

Any thoughts on on this?
