Beyond hurt

Finally got pregnant after years of trying week 5 comes and everything goes down hill, I call my s/o his at work I'm at the Hospital he can't come till he gets off. Few hours later his off I didn't know I called him he says his hanging out, damn! He said he be home by 7 its 9 now he still out I call I expressed how hurt iam he says so what its just a miscarriage everyone goes through one , I hang up on him . am I over reacting for being is upset?
