Hear me out.. what should I do??? :-( 40+6

I'm 18 year old and my baby daddy dosnt want nothing to do with me or the baby... so I planned on having my mom with me in labor ( I have nobody else ) .... but she just dosnt listen to a thing I say... I told her I don't want nobody to know when I'm in labor or going into labor...( I'm getting induced tomorrow)and my mum's in the shop telling MY friends (well not really my friends just people that like to know everyone's buisness) but I do know them from school.. and she's telling them *we are just waiting on a phomecall from hospital for her to go in and get induced* .. I've done my best for so long to keep my due date quiet as I don't want nobody to know when I'm in labor!! ONLY MY REAL FRIENDS AND FAMILY NOT PEOPLE WHO ARE GOING TO TELL EVERYONE MY BUISNESS.)  I got so upset with my mom... and we started arguing to the point she's shouting BRING IT ON all over my nannies house. And telling me SHE CAN TELL WHO SHE WANTS..  so I went up to the bathroom and just cried until she left ... and now  I am still crying I just can't believe the way she just got on..I don't want to even look at he never mind have her in labor with me!! But I don't want to do it alone ... as being induced can take so long.. I'm just so upset :(

I probably wouldn't have her with me then if she can't respect your wishes on this I can only imagine how the rest is going to go me once you cross that line of respect theirs no going back and I rather just do it on my own tbh

It depends. Do what you want. You can let it go and still have her in the room. Or you can stay mad about it and go through labor alone, which would suck. I personally would just move on. The same people would’ve found out tomorrow regardless so it’s not a big deal.

When I went in to be induced, I was put on Pitocin at about 8, didn’t go into active labor until 3pm and had my baby at 5:29pm so it might not take as long as you think.
Personally, I would not let her be there.  She’ll only cause you more stress and that’s the LAST thing you need.  She’s going to tell everyone your private business, and birth is VERY private.

If your mom is telling you to "bring it on" while you're 9 months pregnant.. that doesnt seem like a good environment for you or your baby. I was like that too with my first baby, I didnt want my mom telling people anything about me being pregnant or my due date. Or that I was in labor. But now looking back at it, I kinda did overreact about it because now it seems like it wasnt that big of a deal because in the end I got what I wanted. That was only my SO and my mom in the room. But your mom does sound like she is acting like a little kid and needs to respect how you feel. Especially when you're going through so much.
