Opinion on pet memorial tattoos?

I'm thinking once my cat Bob passes away I'll get a small memorial tattoo of him, but my parents are against tattoos, should I bring this up to my parents?

Here's mine for my first cat Austin. If it's something important to you, think on it awhile, and don't let other people have a say in something that's important to you. (Unless you're under the legal age, then parents say goes, sorry).

If you are of legal age then it is your decision, do what you feel is right. Explain to your parents that this means a lot to you and you need to make your own choices and you hope they can understand.

To me its your choice but only if u are legally to get one , and if your tht close to your pet then yeah , your parents might not like the thought of it but just explain it to them and they will come around eventually

I got this for my dog when we had to put her down my senior year in high school and it’s one of my favorite tattoos I have. The placing looks a lot more normal when I have mire weight on me lol it goes half covered by my bra and half under where it goes
