As for the scripture of the man spilling his semen, what he did was considered as sin because God specifically asked him to bring forth a offspring, but he had sex with her and wasted his semen to the ground. So he disobeyed God, which is sin. Remember that God looks at the heart. I don't believe that doing the pullout method is a sin. Unless God told you to concieve and then you not do it.

It depends on what you mean by "Christian". Catholics don't believe in using any form of birth control. I'm a Christian and I used birth control for 5 years. I think it should be a personal decision; between you and God.

Yes actually, and I am only speaking for the catholic faith, it is still frowned on.  I am catholic and we do use it, but according to the faith you are taking god out of the equation when you use extra measures, beyond NFP, for Birth control.  But like I said, we use it, so.....

Only in Catholicism. Any act of wasting the semen is considered a sin because they believe you're called to procreate. So male masturbation/oral/pull out is considered wrong. That's why Catholics practice Family Planning. 
Most others religions are okay with most forms of birth control--except IUDs in more conservative sects.

This is the only scripture that speaks of spilling your seed. Onan was not put to death by YHVH for spilling his seed but rather for dis honoring his father.  I would say no, but my hubby and I personally try not to do it often.Genesis 38:8-10 
Then Judah said to Onan, “Go in to your brother's wife and perform the duty of a brother-in-law to her, and raise up offspring for your brother.” But Onan knew that the offspring would not be his. So whenever he went in to his brother's wife he would waste the semen on the ground, so as not to give offspring to his brother.
