TTC after being on birth control

 I came off BC Yasmin on 1 June and had a "period" the next day for around 5 days. Since then I haven't had a AF at all. I went to the docs and she confirmed through blood tests that I'm still in the pre-ovulation phase. She said that it could take up to 3 months for my body to regulate itself after being on BC. Has anyone experienced this? And if so, how long did it take you to ovulate again? It's driving me crazy just waiting. I have been using ovulation tests in case I start up again, but so far nothing.
