Have you ever not had a friend in a class?

In my 6th pd I don't have ANY friends. Today my friend told me we had to partner up in that class (she has it 3rd pd) and I called my mom to pick me up. Honestly I hate being the shy girl.

I’m the only one from my school in my career class the first half of the day. The rest of the kids are from surrounding high schools lol.

I was literally just in the SAME situation. The first couple of weeks were awful and every time we had to do a partner activity I would just go to the bathroom to hide and one time I pretended to be hurt just so I could go to the nurse. But it’s gotten way better because last week we had to pick partners and I couldn’t leave the room so I panicked and asked the girl next to me to be partners. And now we’re sorta friends and the class is WAY better. So trust me ik it’s scary but you should try to at least talk to one person, it’ll get better :)

I totally understand!! I was always real timid and shy. You'll grow out of it eventually. I'm 20 now and still have anxiety issues with talking to new people but it gets easier!

Once upon a time, your current friends were strangers. I know it I uncomfortable at first, but you can always make more friends, then you will have friends in class. Out in the real world, you won’t know anyone when going to new places, a new job, running errands, it is good practice😉. You got this
