So I recently asked my doctor if we could try an alternative to the regular gestational diabetes test with that sugary drink.. he told me that since I recently took the test in January (for when I donated a kidney) and my test results were really good that I could just skip the test all together. I was happy about that but after talking to another mom about it she thought it was weird and basically made it seem like something could still go wrong. Has anyone else declined the gestational test or been told they didn’t have to take it for whatever reason?
