Who makes a meme like this? Seriously, wtf. I don't give a fuck if they found a turtle in Timbuktu with a straw in his nose, it is everyone's responsibility to not litter our earth with rubbish. We should all do what we can to reduce waste in our every day lives and that includes disposable straws because if it doesn't go into a landfill where it won't biodegrade it will go somewhere. Abd don't get me started on litter bugs. Daytona Beach is like the fucking ashtray of America, disgusting.

Well it’s a lie that this never happens. The US dumps trash off our naval ships at ridiculous quantities (and items). 
While other countries do have way less requirements then we do when it comes to pollution, that doesn’t mean we should stop setting a standard or striving to do better. It doesn’t matter what other countries do as we can’t control them.

It doesn’t matter where the photo came from, what matters is the message, which is that us humans are destroying the planet and the animals that live in it. Trash and trash, it should be cleaned up and the environment cared for. Everyone is guilty of doing this, and everyone can change their ways to be more environmentally friendly and careful. Why not debate what we can do to CHANGE and STOP this from continuing. Anyone can post a meme or share a link, but why not actually get out there and take action or donate to some of the wonderful things that help.

Does it matter where it happens? It still happens stuff finds it’s way to the ocean like it or not, those plastic balloons people realise for “cute” celebrations they make it to oceans, forests and other animal oriented places. People visit beaches with rubbish, no? Yes! They do what happens when someone accidentally leaves rubbish like plastic straws or bags on the beach they make it into the ocean, what’s in the ocean sea life. Regardless of that when they are in a landfill they take years and years to biodegrade anyways.
