Okay, so my mom has lupus. I've experienced a lot of her chronic illness with her, but honestly never quite understood what she went through on a daily basis. I've seen her struggling to get out of bed and do things that day, but she cant because she did so much the day before and the pain is just too much. I've seen her fight through pain and come through for my sister and I so many times. Once i came across this article it completely opened my eyes to what she goes through every single day. I realized how strong of a woman she truly is. She goes through so much both physically and mentally. And people they are just awful. Shes lost a ton of weight due to the illness and lots of other diseases that she has gotten due to the lupus. People make dude comments saying shes too skinny, looks like a tweaker, even people who are supposed to be friends telling her they wish they could get sick and lose weight. My mom is truly a fighter each and every day. She is my world and I love her more than anything in this universe. Please take the time to read the article to help you better understand what others may be going through with chronic illnesses like lupus, or cystic fibrosis.

This is my beautiful mom!
