Ovulating on CD15??

Question

So I am on CD15. I start testing for ovulation on CD11 per my doctor. I go in for progesterone blood test on CD21 or 22. Should I call the doc tomorrow to tell them I got a positive surge early? I took 5 mg Femara on CD3-7. Will it make me ovulate this early?

If they want you in for progesterone on cd 22 it’s because it is 7 days after they expect you to ovulate which is when you progesterone will be be one of its highest to see how well you ovulated. You shouldn’t need to call them since it’s not technically “early”

If you’re getting a positive today at cd15, you want to do the progesterone test in 8 or 9 days. I’d call the doc and have them reschedule so it’s an accurate read :)
