My fiancé and I are both 21, and have about $20K saved up for a house. Originally we were going to have a nice wedding but have been leaning more toward having a small one and putting a down payment on a house instead. However we have rented from family members so far, nothing in our names except the cable bill, and we bought our car, didn’t finance. Basically we have no credit, however my mother would co-sign on our mortgage. How does home buying work? Would we even get approved if she co signs??
