My boyfriend and I dated for over a year before he left for boarding school. When he did we decided to break up for awhile to give each other some space since he was battling depression for a long time and then after a couple months discuss getting back together. It's been two weeks since he left and all of a sudden yesterday I was talking to him and he said that he doesn't love me anymore. I am completely heartbroken and he says that it's not my fault and that he doesn't feel anything anymore and like he's completely dead on the inside. He told me his depression was getting better since he left but now this happened and I have no idea how to act or feel and respond. He told me that there's still hope for the future and he still loves me as a friend but I'm just really really hurt and I want to get him back. We discussed getting married and would plan our future together constantly and we never went a day without saying I love you or writing long paragraphs about how much we care about each other before he left. He was my whole world and I just really want to know how I can make him love me again and stop being so depressed?
