Decreased fetal movement ???

Question

I will be 39 weeks tomorrow. The past day and a half I have hardly felt my baby moving. MAYBE 10 times. I’m starting to get concerned. I hear this can be completely normal, or it could be that my baby is in distress. I have an appointment in 45 min to get checked out... but has anyone else experienced this?

Get in to the doctor ASAP. Always always always notify your doctor if any decrease in fetal movement!!! Best of luck to you!!!

My boy is okay!! His heart rate was 130 and he was actually practiced breathing on the ultrasound. Dr. Said he is just very comfortable in there and resting up for his big day!

Go get checked out to be sure. I had this happen at 36 weeks and my placenta was aging and putting my baby in distress and I had my c section that day.  Better to be safe than sorry.

No sorry but whoever told you it's normal for decreased movement towards the end of pregnancy is completely wrong! Movements might change because of baby running out of room but they shouldn't decrease in amount. Go to the hospital...

The two times I felt decreased movements at the end of the pregnancy my doc sent me straight to labor and delivery to be monitored.
