Intense gas pains? Ive been having some strong-ish gas pains since 9 this morning, and they have not eased up. They start and stay for like 30-60 seconds, then stop for 2-5 minutes. As well as some period like cramps that radiate to my back. Its not enough “pain” to make me want to go to the hospital, but idk what contractions are supposed to feel like. I’m 38 Weeks btw.

They didn't feel at all like gas pains to me, but then I also keep reading about women who felt like they wanted to poop and I didn't feel like that at all. Every woman experiences labour differently. To me the felt like period cramps that kept getting stronger, until I could barely handle them. If they're not really painful yet, then you likely have nothing to worry about. Trust me, you'll know when it's time to head for the hospital!

I’ve never heard of them feeling like gas pains. For me and anyone else I know it’s more like intense period cramps accompanied by tightening in belly (uterus). It’s more of a dull pain then gas pain

Mine were just like gas pains, I ended up nearly giving birth at home because I kept telling my Mum it was just gas x

They didnt feel like gas pains to me either ... and you will know qhen its time it will be so bad yoy wont be able to walk or talk or move during a contraction!! Could be the start im sure everyone is different
