Should children with severe allergies have to be homeschooled?

Going off the post Gabi posted about a boy dying after having cheese thrown down his shirt.

Comments online under the article were stating that parents of kids with severe allergies should keep them at home if they didn’t want to risk anything happening, and it was the parents’ fault for the child’s death.

I personally disagree. As someone with a severe food allergy myself, I believe you are entitled to go to school. As long as you are educated on what steps to take if it was ever triggered, and ensure people are aware of this. Instead people should be teaching their kids not to be assholes and to take others’ medical conditions and allergies more seriously.
