Red Cross Message
My husbands mother is in the hospital She went for an emergency CT scan and came out with stage 4 liver and Lung cancer. The cancer is also in her throat and back bone. We won't know anymore for a few days until they do a biopsy. They said if she didn't come in for the scan she would have died within a year.
My question is.. If they have to put the Red Cross message in if she gets worse, will the Army pay to fly my husband home? I don't care about me. I have miles for myself. Just living in Alaska it's $1,200 for him to fly from Alaska to Chicago.
Anyone experience this and know if the service member will be paid for?
