I like the tanks more than the bra I got but they all work pretty good

I asked the same question! But still couldn't find affordable tank tops so I just bought stretchy ones that I can pull under my breast! Works like a charm!

Just thought I'd mention this since someone mentioned the 2-shirt method: Old Navy currently has a sale on camis. Not nursing tops, but the regular kind. I bought a whole bunch and they were in between $2.50 and $3.50 each. I can pull them down low enough to nurse. I bought them online, but according to the ad I saw they are also on sale in stores. To answer the original question: The only real nursing top I have bought so far was from Motherhood Maternity. It was on sale for $15 instead of $25. I was too cheap to buy any regular priced tops there. But I did get a bunch of tank tops in other stores that totally work without being designated nursing tops. I actually don't like many of the "real" nursing tops because the cut is often like a maternity shirt and I don't have that much belly anymore.

PS: I do wear "real" nursing bras, though. Bought them from Amazon (Royce is the brand).

Walmart has good nursing bras and then I just do the two shirt method.

Under my normal shirt I wear a tank top or undershirt that is easy to pull down over the breast and then just unclip the nursing bra :) it's great for out and about too because everything is still mostly covered that way!

The medical supply stores in my area carry Medela bras and tanks and are very comfy and great quality. The Walmart and target ones were not strong enough to hold up my big gals I guess ;)
