BBT help??!!

Question

I take my temp vaginally every morning at 6:30am. I’ve  been having light cramps the past 3 days or so. I really thought I’d be having my period soon. Due today or tomorrow. But my temps are looking like this. What gives?

Answer

-start temping on the first day of your period or a few days later, not a week into the cycle
-you don’t have to temp vaginally, oral temps work fine. Don’t switch mid cycle though
-having a regular time when you temp is good but it’s more important that you do it immediately after waking up and have been asleep for at least 4 hours. 6:30 won’t work if you got up to pee at 5am.
