What size clothes did your newborn wear?

I’m packing my hospital bag as I’m 35 weeks. I grabbed a couple different sizes of onesies to bring her home in, but I’m curious as to which size is more common.

With my first born, she was a big baby.. 9lbs. Knowing this I only packed 0-3 month clothes.. I breast fed and she lost weight and literally, they were HUGE on her. We had to go buy newborn clothes, which she fit into for a whole month. So I definitely am packing newborn this time around

My girl was born at 9lbs. She was discharged at 7lb, 15oz but still newborns swallowed her up.

Preemie was born 7.3 and went down to 6.14 by the time we left the hospital. Most Newborn is swilling him. Only Carters knit jammies and preemie work.

My 38 week baby was born and preemie everything, diapers, and clothes, was to big on him. He was 5 pounds 2.6 ounces.

My son was born 6 lbs 7 8 oz and 19.5 inches long and wore newborn and preemie for a very very long time. Bring gowns to the hospital if you are not sure what sizes to bring for baby. This time around I'm bringing 2 sets of 2 different sizes just to be on the cautious side.
