Help I’m visiting my boyfriend in a month ( Fort Benning )

Im visiting my boyfriend in a month, Fort Bennings family days are on the 19-21st according to him and I have no idea what to expect, I need to book a hotel and I don’t know what airport would be easiest to arrive at and I don’t know what to do when I get there like do I just go straight to the visitors center or ??!  I’m stressing out because I’m from california and I’ve never been out of state before please help I’m really excited to go visit him but idk what to expect and I can’t call him because he’s still in white phase for a couple more weeks.
