Books for 2 months old?

Question

What books do you read to your two months old? I went to my son’s pedi and she asked me if I’m reading him books at the bedtime. So I’m wondering what books are you guys reading to your 2 months old? And also since I’m a first time mom I’ll take any other advice or tips on different topic (such as toys, tummy time, bath...)as well for 2 months old. Thank you everyone 🙌

I read Harry Potter to my daughter from in the womb until now at 14 months. 
I’m a special education teacher. It’s important that children experience hearing the flow of read aloud language. It connects parts of their brain together unlike spoken language. The flow is completely different. 
Any book will do! Board books are fun for them to explore with you. Even a book that you’re interested in will work for now. 
We love Dr. Seuss. Great rhyme and fun pictures.

I would stick to buying board books in the first two years to avoid ripped pages. I have a few paper books and ended up packing them all away after my baby tore one up lol. I’ll bring them out when she’s older. 
During the first 6-9 months we mostly read baby board books with stories like the small dr Seuss books, the hungry caterpillar, goodnight moon, etc. 
After 9 months, I started focusing on board books like this one to teach her vocabulary. These kinds of books just have pictures and the words (no storyline) and I would point them out to her, go over colors, etc. 
By 12 months when I asked her to “show me the car” or “where’s the banana” she could point it all the different items. She also started talking very early and I really think these kinds of books helped 😊

To be honest. I was doing my ceu for nursing and i was reading it to my 3 month old. Its more about just hearing words at this point not the context.

Anything child friendly we get books from the library picture books or board books etc she loves them all and has from day one shes now 9 mo

I never read books to my child. I think they say to do that to make parents talk directly to their child more. I’ve always talked to her throughout the day now at one she can say many words and small “sentences” like all gone and what’s this
