Rant 😠😢

My SO gets really whiney and defensive everytime i even QUESTION something the hospital does. Like he wouldn't even be researching any of this stuff if it weren't to defend the hospital or guidelines from ME. Im glad he does his research and i do listen to him when/if he finds something to support whatever it is, but what bothers me is that he takes it so personally! As if he himself wrote that rule or advice or as if he is somehow personally related or tied to it! Yet when i ask why he's so defensive he simply says, "becuase i know you hate hospitals and i trust them". What might we be arguing about currently ? I want to RESEARCH the shots and such done right after birth. I dont think I'm asking for anything crazy. Like i dont want the eye goop unless meconium is passed in utero. My dr said its to prevent pink eye and chlamydia transfer. And he says, "i haven't had time to gather the info to defend myself". Like what? Im never hateful about the FACTS I've gathered and i don't wizard FACTS and SCIENCE out of nowhere just to insult him (which is somehow married to the hospital and all of it's policies!). Whenever im right and he finally agrees hes still bitter about it. Like why can't we be a team? All that matters is the safety and facts to me, but since he immediately takes the hospitals side it seems an awful lot like he doesn't actually care about the facts unless they back the hospital. His brain practically explods when i get drs to agree with me on stuff that he thinks is anti hospital. Why arent we a team on this? Ugh. :( btw my first daughter is vaccinated save for the select few my dr agreed weren't needed alongside my research.
