Did you take time off before grad school? If so, how long?

I’m a senior in college (graduating in 3 years instead of 4) and am planning to attend graduate school to get my masters in Occupational Therapy. However, I need to take 2 more classes my school doesn’t offer. So either way, I will be taking a year off. I’m stressed about whether I take two years off, work and get experience, or if I go right after one year. My other dilemma is that the programs are switching to PhD programs by 2027, but some schools are switching already and I would rather not do a PhD program. So much stress!
